Shut Up, Laura

So what has our intrepid heroine been up to? In no particular order:

1. 
   My fall coursework is OVER!!!! *dances happy dance* Two more classes to go, and then I'll have my Master's degree and be finished with this daft night school business once and for all.
   
   
   
2. 
   Been running like a mad fool woman. Did an 8K the day of the Philadelphia Marathon, a 5-mile "Turkey Trot" on Thanksgiving morning, and did my first 10K last Sunday. I'm particularly proud of the 10K because I'd only ever trained 5 miles before running it, so the last 1.2 miles were purely gutting it out. (Okay, okay, so I finished 704th out of 707 runners. I'm not fast and never will be, what do you want from me?
   
   
   
3. 
   My intrepid MVP lead completed the Seattle half-marathon the Sunday after Thanksgiving. GO SUZANNA!
   
   
   
4. 
   New gear has arrived for my long-awaited AD deployment at %EMPLOYER%. This will be much fun, and taking up quite a bit of my time over the next several weeks or more.
   
   
   
5. 
   Working on finally getting a passport so that I can go see Steve Hogarth in the UK in the spring. Yes, I'll be flying 3500 miles to see...a concert. God I'm a nerd.
