Shut Up, Laura

You've seen "the Incredibles", right? The scene where Bob gets called into the boss's office, and the boss (whose voice is the "Inconceivable!!!" guy from Princess Bride) is sitting there saying "I'm not happy, Bob."

Anyway, that's me right now. Because I'm sitting in this security training class. And it's going from soup-to-nuts, talking about firewalls and IP packet construction and intrusion detection and...Windows security. Now, I think that the trainer is excellent and engaging, and really really knows his stuff...on everything except that last point. He's playing so fast-and-loose on the Windows side of the house that I'm finding it hard to stay in my seat. And it's difficult, because he's otherwise a great instructor, and I don't want to be that person who sits there interrupting the class every 2 minutes when he starts talking Windows.

But some of the stuff he's saying is just flat-out wrong.

Grrrr.
