An Identity Dilemna
Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 03:46PM In the USA, the 2 most commonly-requested pieces of identification are: Drivers License, and Social Security Number:
The only legitimate purpose of a Drivers License is to prove that you are authorized to drive a motor vehicle on an American roadway.
The only legitimate purpose of an SSN is to allow you to access information regarding taxation, SSN benefit information, etc.
And yet...
...ask me how much fun it has been for my beloved husband to exist as a resident of the United States without these items, or to attempt to obtain either one.
